Of course, free agency will have something to do with the Rams' draft strategy since it takes place more than a month before the draft. But I think we all know the big needs, in no particular order: WR, offensive line (particularly tackle, but also guard), safety, outside linebacker, tight end. -

Yeah, that one surprised me, as did Doug Marrone by Buffalo. There's no rhyme or reason to these head-coacing hires lately. Some are recycled head coaches, some or coordinators, some come out of college, and in the case of Trestman _ the CFL. I like the Bruce Arians hire in Arizona. Andy Reid obviously has a proven track record of success, but I wonder if he'd have been better suited to taking a year off rather than signing up with KC. The Chip Kelly hire in Philly will be very interesting to watch. If Michael Vick has anything left in the tank, there are still a lot of skill players in Philly. -

This is a different kind of question. But I'd say from having a son as a former high school wrestler, I really admire what those guys go through during the course of the season. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that 6 minutes on the mat in an evenly contested match. I don't know the details, but was very surprised to see wrestling dropped as an Olympic sport. -

More often than not, there usually isn't much out there in free agency. But I think it would certainly have the Rams thinking about that position in the draft. If Jackson leaves, it's an interesting dillemma. Do the Rams feel secure enough with a combination of Richardson, Pead, and Ganaway. Do they know what the have in Ganaway. -

Hi, Jim: I know if you had specific info that you could release on the Titus Young era and what he did to earn a release, you would have already done so. Did you get to meet him, and did he come off as the colossal knucklehead that he appears to be from the cheap seats where the rest of us are watching from? -
I didn't get to meet him this time around. I tried to get an interview with him last week, but was turned down by the Rams. Now we all know why. I did meet Young at the Senior Bowl in 2012 and talked to him for a few minutes. He seemed normal, amiable, etc. As for his problems, I think it goes beyond being a knucklehead. I'm not a pyschiatrist, but I think there are some behavioral issues there that need treated. -
