There was a lot of discussion last week about the Rams and Pats decision-making regarding when to travel to London. Several commentators, including Softli, suggested Belichick had erred greatly in waiting to Friday and that the team would be jet-lagged. They appeared to be ready to play...... -

Why does the name of Elvis Andrus keep coming up when fans start speculating about the Cards trading for a shortstop? What would make Texas want to trade him? And while I've got your attention: let's say Texas WAS interested in trading Andrus to the Cardinals. Please tell me that neither Rosenthal or Miller would be part of the package. -

Jeff- i have been harping on this for 2 years . the rams lack a wr who can get open - my definition of a no.1. The patriots depleted secondary was able as almost every team was this year to stop rams wr when necessary.Givens can occasionally get open deep but there is not that guy to go to in the end zone or for the big first down and there hasn't been since holt left. You can win with mediocre safeties-see pats this week - and the rams do need to upgrade their but our focus in tyher offseason must be on aplaymakin wr we cant afford to wait to see if quick is not the bust he appears to be.The rams failed to go after rice ,vjacksno ,b marshall all of who were available and would be that player. It appears jennings and wallace are going to be available -go get one of them -
Givens IS a home-run threat. Five straight games with a 50-yard catch is notable. There is room to growth there. Amendola returns for the next game and he has no trouble getting open. Retaining him has to be a big priority. Beyond that, the rest of this season is big for Quick. He has shown some flashes, like with his 39-yard catch yesterday. But he has to show much more. -

Wong has a fluid playing style, at the plate and in the field. His on-base percentage of .348 and his.405 slugging percentage suggests there is some hope. But the Cardinals do want more offense there, which is why Matt Carpenter could win the job in the spring while Wong starts at the Triple-A level. -

An older RB, potential walk year of his contract, halfway into the season . . . I'm guessing a fourth-round pick is realistic. For me, that is not enough to sacrifice a potential victory or two. I still believe the Rams have chance to win more games this year and Jackson could help that cause. -

According to BR, Elvis Andrus is a 3 or 4 WAR player. He has a combination of speed defense and on base skills that make him one of the top 3 or 4 SS in baseball right now. And he's 23 years old. You don't get a layer like that without giving back something good. But also you have to make sure you can resign him. -

Gordo one thing I have noticed, especially in the last 2 weeks is how wide open the other teams WRs, TEs and RBs are. There is plenty of blame to go around but our safties can't cover worth a darn. We need major upgrades there. Also seeing the other teams WRs run so open and so free makes me long for the day when the Rams people can do the same on a regular basis. -

Jeff the Cards had a nice run. I just think at the end the pitching just wore down and the Giants got red hot. There will be some uncertainty going into next season as far as the starters. Who do u see as the starting 5 man rotation? I doubt Kyle will return and I am not sure if Garcia will be ready by April. -
