He apparently has a minor problem there, but not enough to keep him out of practice this week. The Rams are intentionally vague when discussing injuries.

It'll be interesting to see which receiver gets the most looks in the slot. This is Steve Smith's chance to reestablish himself after falling to the inactive list. Pettis has his chance to step up as well. Everybody is on the spot today without Amendola.

Rams traded OT's, getting rid of Jason Smith. Since then our OL has played fairly well. I attribute that to good coaching, but don't really know who gets the credit. My question is how has Jason Smith been since the trade?

Danny's injury is extremely rare in the NFL, so we can only guess. He tends to rush back. He hopes to return some time after the bye week. But, again, this type of dislocation is almost unheard of in football.

Do the Dolphins inactives for today point to any opportunities for the Rams to exploit? I do see that a starting cornerback is out. Do you think that, coupled with the fact that Miami has a stout run defense means that the Rams might be throwing it a bit more today (if the pass protection holds up against Cameron Wake and the rest of the Miami pass rushers)?

I imagine the Rams will HAVE to pass the ball a lot in this game. Last week the Rams had a decent run blocking push when it needed it, but this makeshift line hasn't consistently blocked the run well. Fans demand that the Rams stick with the run even when it doesn't work, but I'm guessing Schottenheimer doesn't what to spend the whole game passing on third and seven.

Miami has run the ball 170 times in five games. The are passing the ball 34 times a game and have suffered just nine sacks.

Jackson is closer to 100 percent. But Miami has an elite run defense and I don't expect much from the Rams' ground game today.

Winning at Miami would be a major upset. Expect a low scoring game. To win, the Rams defense will have to make some huge plays.

Pick sixes are rare, as are punt returns for TDs. But that would be the sort of be play this team will need to prevail against that defense.

With the Rams OL being a weak point, do they attempt to attack the very average secondary of the Dolphins? The Dolphins are #1 against the run and #30 against the pass.

Yes, I would expect the Rams to pass a lot for the reasons already stated. I just don't see this line opening up much on the ground.

Gordo - Can you update me on Rok Watkins... is he recovered from his injury? Does he have a chance to play this year? I see Ojinaka continues to get bull rushed onto his butt at least once per game... no bueno!

Watkins is on injured reserve and out for the year. His high ankle sprain was going to sideline him for several weeks and Fisher opted not to keep him on the active roster.

I think the Rams should spread out the Phins and really try to establish an up tempo quick passing game. Hopefully they can get a couple of deep shots to Givens today as well.

You can be the Rams will try to stretch the Dolphins with throws over the top to Givens. Schottenheimer always has the deep throw in the game plan.

hey jeff, tannehill has displayed very good ability to pass while on the run out of the pocket....he also has a tendency to throw into some very tight spaces...i see a big day for our secondary in the turnover department..what do you think?

The Rams will try to mix up their coverages and throw a lot of looks at him. Fisher knows his defense will have to make big plays to give this team a chance to won today.

It sounds like were getting close to getting Roger Saffold and Scott Wells back. When they are ready, are they immediately going to return to the starting lineup or eased back in, in some fashion. It seems that the current line is achieving some effectiveness (at least in pass protection) from having worked together for several weeks now. Scott Wells in particular was out most of camp and the preseason and just about all of the regular season too.
